Fulham FC are one of the oldest professional football clubs in England, having been founded in 1879. Their original name was Fulham St Andrew’s Church Sunday School Football Club, and they spent a short time as Fulham Excelsior before becoming Fulham Football Club in 1888. The team has several nicknames, including The Cottagers, The Lily Whites and The Whites, and has played in the Football League since 1907. Fulham currently play in the Premier League, having been promoted from the Championship at the end of the 2017/18 season.

Fulham FC play at Craven Cottage football stadium in Fulham, London – a stadium which they have called home since 1896. The stadium, which many fans refer to simply as 'the Cottage' has a capacity of 25,700, and is a familiar sight to anyone who enjoys watching football on TV or Fulham live streams online.
The original Fulham FC crest displayed a simple black-and-white image of Craven Cottage on a shield, but has changed several times over the decades. The current crest was introduced in the year 2000, and shows the red letters FFC (rotated forty-five degrees to the right) in vertical formation on the white panel of a shield, the background of which is black.

The owner of Fulham FC is Shahid Khan, who is said to have paid at least £150 million – and possibly as much as £200 million – to purchase it from Mohamed Al-Fayed in 2013. The team is currently being guided by caretaker manager Scott Parker, who played for the club as a midfielder from 2013 to 2017.
